New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State ( MAHACET CELL) has informed about the extension of the Eligibility for Internship Completion cut off date for NEET MDS - 2021. Quoting the DGHS, the Internship Completion date has been extended from 31/03/2021 upto 31/07/2021
The NEET MDS - 2021 Online Process of Maharashtra State Quota admission has been scheduled from 26/08/2021 to 29/08/2021. For this process as per NEET MDS - 2021 Information Brochure rule no. 8.2 the eligibility for Internship Completion date is 31/03/2021.
However, in view of aforesaid reference letter of DGHS, New Delhi the Eligibility for Internship Completion cut off date for NEET MDS - 2021 is extended upto 31/07/2021.
The concerned Candidates should take note of this revised Eligibility cut off date for Internship Completion and fill Online Application Form as per schedule and complete the required formalities for Admission Process as per NEET MDS - 2021 Information Brochure.
EArlier the MCC notice stated the following
All candidates participating in the MDS Counselling 2021 are hereby informed that in reference to DCI Letter No. DE-NEET(MDS) Admission- 2021/1498 dated 24.08.2021 it has been requested to extend the internship completion cut off date from 31.3.2021 to 31.07.2021 for those students who have appeared in the NEET MDS 2021 and fulfil the eligibility criteria for admission in MDS/ PG Diploma courses for the academic session 2021-22, in view of covid pandemic.
In view of the above, the competent authority has decided to extend the last date internship from 31.03.2021 to 31.07.2021 as a one time measure, not to be taken as precedent. Also, the Registration and Choice Filling is being extended by 01 day i.e. upto 25.08.2021 to allow such candidates to register and exercise choices who have become eligible after extension of internship completion date.
