Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) issues important instructions for candidates' refunds (round 01) for the postgraduate admission process for the academic year 2022-23.
As per the notice, the online module for the refund process started at 3:00 pm on December 26, 2022, and continues till noon on January 02, 2023.
The candidates who have either been admitted/not admitted in Post Graduate Medical and Dental (MD/MS/Diploma/MDS) and are eligible for the refund from the tuition fee paid at ACPPGMEC have to fill in the online details at http://www.medadmgujarat.org/pg/home.aspx regarding their refund, Bank Name; Bank Account No.; Bank MICR No.; IFSC No.; Account Holder Name. For the refund of fees paid at ACPPGMEC, the NRI candidates have to fill in the details of the Indian Account. Do not fill in the details of the NRE/NRO account.
The refund amount will be paid through Electronic Transfer to their bank account.
The following are the reasons for the failure of the transaction –
1.Mismatch in filled Account Details: Wrong Account No.; Wrong IFSC Code; etc.
2.Dormant/Freeze account due to banking reasons.

The stray vacancy round for PG Medical and Dental admission was concluded on November 30, 2022. The 4th Stray Vacancy (offline) round was an offline counseling process, so candidates were asked to come in person per their merit numbers' schedule. All the candidates who are included in the Merit-list of ACPPGMEC were allowed to participate in the 4th Stray Vacancy (offline) Round, except the candidates who have secured and joined admission in 50% AIQ/Deemed/Central Universities/AFMS seats counseling OR DNB seats OR Seats of Gujarat state counseling OR Other state counseling.
The Government of Gujarat, in the Legislative Assembly, has passed an act, Act No.3 of 2008, called "Gujarat Professional Educational Medical Colleges or Institutions Act, 2007," to make special provision for the regulation of admission in the Professional Medical educational courses in the State and fixation of fees in such colleges or institutions and matter connected in addition to that. The Government of Gujarat had constituted the "Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC)" to regulate the admission of candidates to the Professional MD/MS/Diploma & MDS degree courses. The mission assigned to this Committee is to carry out the counseling process fairly and transparently. The admission process is conducted by this Committee strictly based on the candidate's merit.
