Chandigarh: PGI Chandigarh Senior Resident Vacancies

The Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI Chandigarh) has released vacancies for the post of Senior Resident on an Ad hoc Basis. The candidates will be selected based on Walk In Interview.

PGI Chandigarh was conceived in 1960 as a center of excellence that would endeavor to develop patterns of teaching in postgraduate medical education in as many branches as possible and attempt to produce specialists in several disciplines of medicine.

PGI Vacancy Details:

  • Total no of vacancies: 08
  • 02 vacancies are in the Department of Pediatrics and Date of Walk-In-Interview - 7th January 2021.
  • 04 vacancies are in the Department of Microbiology and Date of Walk-In-Interview - 8th January 2021.
  • 02 vacancies are in the Department of General Surgery and Date of Walk-In-Interview - 11th January 2021.

PGI Job Details

Note: The candidates who fulfill the following eligibility criteria are requested to attend the same with their bio-data in triplicate along with all the documents/certificates in support of their claim and three photocopies of each document (including photographs) on the date, time, and venue mentioned above. No TA/DA shall be paid by the Institute for appearing in the said interview.

PGIMER was also envisaged that these specialists would spread out in the country in various medical colleges and medical institutions and impart medical education of the highest standard to the students and set up a nucleus of excellence in their own institutions. The PGIMER was also given the responsibility to broaden the horizons of medical knowledge by intensive research in the field of health.
