TheNational Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) recently exonerated an UP-based hospital and doctor from charges of medical negligence while treating an injured patient, who died after treatment. Even though the State Consumer Court had held the hospital and the treating doctor liable, after considering the evidence submitted, including the treatment documents, the Apex Consumer Court observed that there wasno medical negligence.
