Uttar Pradesh: The Directorate General of Medical Education (UP DGME) released the seat matrix for round 2 of MBBS and BDS admission. The details related to round 2 have also been released.
As per the notice, DGME has allotted 2008 seats for round 2 for MBBS and BDS admission.

The following details were issued for round 2 –
1. Actual Vacancies - The seats not allotted in Round-1, Not Reported in Round-1, and Resigned from Round-1.
2. Virtual Vacancies / SAC - Any candidates who have been admitted to seats in Round 1 and has opted for up-gradation in Round 2 that admitted seats of Round 1 would be shown as virtual vacancy in Round 2, and Candidates can fill the said seat during the choice filling in Round 2. However, such seats will be allotted in Round 2 if they admit a candidate of Round 1 vacates/upgrades in Round 2.
3. The candidates need to use the same login id for choice locking, which they use for choice filling.
4. after choice filling, candidates must do choice locking. If they fail to do choice locking, then their seat allotment will be canceled.
5. The candidates will have to put the option of round 1 admitted seat because if any seat is not allotted in this round, they can retain the earlier seat.
6. The candidates who will be allotted seats in round 2, their seats in round 1 will automatically be canceled.
7. If the candidates are allotted the same seat in round 1, and again in round 2, they must complete the admission process at the nodal center.
8. The new candidates who will be allotted seats in round 2 must complete the admission process at the nodal center. They will have to do their medical test through the medical board formed at the nodal center.
9. The round 1 allotted candidates who do not wish to upgrade their seat need not do choice filling.
10. The candidates will have to report to the allotted college once the admission process is over.
