UP DGME Publishes Merit List For Round 2 NEET PG, NEET MDS Candidates

Uttar Pradesh: The Directorate General of Medical Education (UP DGME) published the merit list for round 2 of the counselling process for NEET PG and NEET MDS admission.
The list consists of State Rank, Roll Number, Name, Father's Name, UP Category, Neet Rank, Neet Marks Marks with Weightage, and Weightage in %. The detailed lists are enclosed in the notices below.
If the candidates are allotted a seat in round 2 and don't take admission or resign, then deduction/refund of tuition fee will be done as per government order. The candidates allotted seats in rounds 1 or 2 are not eligible for the mop-up round.
The admission will be cancelled without further notice if candidates fail to produce the original documents or produce any false information/documents. Candidates will be checked for their identity at the time of admission. It will be counted as unfair if it does not match, and their candidature will be cancelled. Additional legal action would be taken against such candidates.
Eligibility criteria –
1. Candidates who have passed MBBS/BDS course from the State Govt. Medical Colleges/ Institutes/Universities and recognized Private Medical/ Dental Colleges/ Universities of UP are eligible for admission in State Quota Seats in Govt./ Private Medical/ Dental Medical Colleges/Institutes/Universities of UP through NEET-PG-2022/NEET-MDS-2022 Counseling
2. Candidates who have completed their one year of Compulsory Rotatory Internship on or before 31 "July 2022 for MDS and MD/MS /Diploma/DNB and has qualified NEET-MDS- 2022, NEET PG- 2022.
3. Candidates who have passed MBBS/BDS from outside of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for admissions only in Private Medical/Dental colleges/Institutes/Universities.
4. Candidates who have acquired a foreign medical degree are eligible for state counselling per NMC notification dated 4th March 2022.
5. Candidates will have to be NEET PG/NEET MDS qualified.
The medical education department plays a pivotal role in developing medical and paramedical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. The department also has a role to play in establishing and maintaining well-equipped teaching institutions, which are the premier referral centres from peripheral hospitals. Research is another area of activity for the medical education department. The directorate facilitates comprehensive medical and dental education via various medical, dental, and paramedical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, it also provides standard medical facilities to the patients.
