Tamil Nadu: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) has released the tentative counseling schedule and seat matrix for the MBBS and BDS admission special categories.
The counseling schedule has been released for admission in Tamil Nadu Govt. Medical/ Dental Colleges, govt. seats in Self Financing Medical/ Dental Colleges, ESIC Medical College & PGIMSR, K.K. Nagar, Chennai, Private University, 20% of Christian Medical College, Vellore, And Wards of IRT Candidates.
Detailed schedule –
1. Registration/ Payment and Choice Filling & Locking - 19-10-2022 10:00 A.M. - 25-10-2022 05:00 P.M. (Rank - GR 001 TO GR 22054, NEET Mark - 705 TO 93)
2. Provisional List of Selected Candidates called for Certificate Verification - 26-10-2022
3. Original Certificate Verification at designated Government Medical College - 27-10-2022 - 28-10-2022
4. Result of First Round of Counselling - 30-10-2022
5. Downloading the Provisional Allotment Order, Reporting Time - From 31-10-2022 to 04-11-2022 05:00 P.M.
Instructions –
1. Candidates participating in the online choice filling for MBBS/BDS Degree Courses will have to remit a non-refundable amount of Rs.500 and a Refundable Security Deposit online as a processing fee via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
2. All candidates should read the Prospectus thoroughly before starting choice filling.
3. Candidates should be careful during choice filling.
4. Admission to MBBS/BDS Degrees courses shall be made by the online
5. Counselling based on rank by applying the rule of reservation.
6. The online counseling procedure will be available on the official websites.
7. Candidates absent at the scheduled time and date of online counseling will not be considered for admission.
8. Candidates could edit their choice till choice locking. Once the candidates lock their choice during the online counseling, it cannot be changed later.
9. Request for a change of Branch / College from one to another is not permitted after an option has been exercised.
Instructions for certificate verification -
1. Candidates are requested to choose preferred medical colleges from three different districts for certificate verification of their originals.
2. The candidates called for certificate verification should produce all relevant original documents at the certificate verification center on the stipulated date and time mentioned in the certificate verification schedule.
3. The candidates called for certificate verification are not guaranteed admission to MBBS/BDS course.
4. If the preference of the center for certificate verification given by the candidate is not available, the center will be decided by the selection committee.
Instructions for downloading allotment order -
1. The selected candidate has to pay a non-refundable tuition fee for downloading the allotment order online via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking or RTGS.
2. All candidates should ensure sufficient funds are available in their bank account with an expanded credit limit while remitting their tuition fee.
3. The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time mentioned in the provisional allotment order.
Reporting to allotted college -
1. The candidates should produce their original certificates in person when joining their selected Colleges, along with a scanned copy of the original certificates.
2. If the candidates do not report to the Head of the Institution they are allotted on or before the time and date specified, their selection and / or admission will be canceled without further notice.
3. The candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form when reporting to the concerned college that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts or misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.
