Patna: Black Fungus Cases in Bihar
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday directed officials to make proper arrangements in all Medical College Hospitals of the state for the treatment of the rising number of Black Fungus cases.
Mr. Kumar tweeted that cases of Black Fungus infection were increasing in Bihar and informed that the Health Department had been directed to make arrangements for treatment of Black Fungus in all Medical College Hospitals.

All required measures should be taken for protection from Black Fungus and Corona infections, he stressed and issued directives to authorities concerned in this connection, the Chief Minister said.
He also recognised the vital role being played by Jeevika Didis during the period of the Corona pandemic.
He also recalled that associating women in self-help groups through the Jeevika scheme was started in the year 2006. The number of Jeevika self-help groups had increased to 10.27 lakhs since then, involving more than 1.27 lakh families, he further said, adding that the success journey of Jeevika Didis and their vital role in the empowerment of women was highly motivational.
