69th Independence Day Blood Donation Campaign

To celebrate the 69th Independence Day in the country, resident doctors in Maharashtra organised a series of blood donation camps throughout various hospitals in Maharashtra. These included:

  • JJ Hospital
  • Kem Hospital
  • Nair Hospital
  • Ambajogai Hospital
  • BJ Medical College, Pune
  • And many more

Over 500 resident doctors participated as a part of the blood donation campaign organised throughout the State by the Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD).

The blood donation drive was accompanied by a series of panel discussions on topics concerning healthcare today, organised by MARD at JJ Hospital, Mumbai. These included issues like:

  • Doctors Protection Act
  • NORI
  • The Mental Health Bill 2013
  • State Organ Transplant Act
