Chandigarh: Through a recent notice, the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) has informed about the extension of the online applications for MD, MS admission 2020.
The notice clearly states:
Due to outbreak of COVID-19, the last date of filling online application form for MD/MS examination for the session July-2020 has been extended up to 26.04.2020 instead of 16.04.2020. For further updates, keep visiting the site regularly.

PGIMER, Chandigarh will conduct the examination on May 23, 2020,9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for admission to 295 Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) seats in its residency-cum-training program of three years.

1. Above seats are tentative and are subject to change.
2. *As per provisions (Chapter VI Clause 32) of the Rights of the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities Act 2016, five percent seats shall be allotted on horizontal basis. The disability certificate of candidates should be issued by authorized Medical Board of the State Govt./Govt. of India or any other Competent authority authorized in this regard by the state/Government of India.
3. *In case of Rural Area candidates, five percent seats shall be allotted on horizontal basis.
4. /Foreign National Seats will not be converted against any other category.
