Chandigarh: PGIMER Counselling Announcement

The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) has announced the 2nd counselling/seat allotment schedule to the candidates for admission to the INI-CET (MD/MS) course for January 2024.

As per the notice, the 2nd physical counseling/seat allotment for admission to the above-mentioned courses will be held on the 19th January 2024 (Friday) at 11:00 AM in the Bhargava Auditorium, PGIMER, Chandigarh. This is for the candidates who applied under the category for admission to the MD/MS course at PGIMER Chandigarh and qualified for the INI-CET (January 2024) conducted by AIIMS New Delhi.

All the qualified and eligible candidates are required to produce one set photocopy of all the documents at the time of counseling, failing which they will not be considered for admission:

• 10th class certificate
• MBBS Degree
• Internship Certificate
• State Medical Council/National Medical Commission Registration Certificate
• Original Sponsorship Certificate
• NOC from their respective employers

Seats available to be filled in the 2nd counseling on 19.01.2024 will be uploaded on the PGIMER website on 16.01.2024 evening. Candidates are requested to be seated in the auditorium at 10:45 AM on 19.01.2024.

INI-CET is administered by the Examination Section, AIIMS New Delhi, in consultation with nodal officers from all INIs. AIIMS, New Delhi, is the sole authority for conducting all aspects related to the Combined Entrance Test, such as application, conduct of exam, declaration of results, and Seat Allocation, as its responsibility is limited to these aspects of INI-CET only.

Admission/seat allocation into any of the participating INI will be governed by the rules and regulations of the respective Institute as applicable and will be administered by the Head of Institutions of respective INIs.
