PG medical admissions 2025: TN Health declares 921 candidates ineligible, opens grievance portal for document submission

Tamil Nadu:A total of 921 candidates have been made ineligible for the Tamil NaduNEET PGcounselling for the academic year 2025. On this, the Directorate of Medical Education and Research has opened multiple complaint portals for such candidates to upload relevant documents and get eligibility for admission toMD, MSand PG Diploma courses. Of these 921 candidates, a total of 332 candidates have been disqualified under the government quota, 265 under the NRI category, 221 under the management quota, 35 under the Christian minority, 59 under the Telugu minority and nine under the Malayalam minority. Meanwhile, the grievance portal for uploading relevant documents to correct errors has been activated on the official website. Candidates will be able to upload certificates until tomorrow, October 23rd, 2025. However, grievances submitted after the deadline will not be considered, and no individual notification will be sent to candidates in this regard. Additionally, the State Selection Committee has begun the verification process for candidates applying under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category. Therefore, the verification portal specifically developed for PwD candidates will remain open until October 23rd. Such candidates are required to carry the following documents to get their PwD certificate as per the NMC norms. 1 NEET PG result card, 2 Valid UDID card issued by the designated medical authority, 3 Self-certified affidavits in the specified format.
