OJEE Announces 2nd Spot Counselling Schedule For BAMS, BHMS Admissions

Odisha: Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has announced that a 2nd round of spot counselling for admission to BAMS and BHMS courses for 2022-23 is scheduled at OJEE CELL, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar on 02.03.2023.
Detailed schedule –
1. 09:30 AM TO 10:30 AM - All ST Category Candidates
2. 10:00 AM TO 11:00 AM - 1 & Above
Candidates are advised to carefully review the “Guidelines and Instructions for Spot Counselling” available on the OJEE website and come prepared accordingly.
As per OJEE, this round will be conducted per rule and process similar to the 1st spot round and in compliance with the document “Guidelines and Instructions for spot counselling of BAMS / BHMS Courses-2022”, available on the OJEE website.
Eligibility for participation -
NEET (UG) 2022 All India Rank holders satisfying the qualifying marks criterion (as per relevant notifications of AYUSH) are eligible to participate.
Non-eligibility for participation -
Candidates, who have been admitted to any Institute through All India Counselling by AACCC or through OJEE counselling at the end of 1st round of spot counselling, are not eligible to participate in the OJEE spot counselling.

Depending on new information available, if any, the Tentative Vacant Seat Matrix, as above, may be revised, and the Final Vacant Seat Matrix shall be displayed on 01.03.2023.
The candidates, who get admission in this Spot Round, shall report to the respective Institutions immediately by submitting a copy of the allotment-cum-admission letter duly signed by the OJEE authority. Admission will be declared closed as and when seats/candidates are exhausted.
Consequent upon the provisions of the Odisha Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fee) Act,2007, the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee was formed on the recommendation of the Policy Planning Body with due approval by the Government (Skill Development and Technical Education Department ) to hold Common Entrance Examinations and conduct counselling process for admission to various Undergraduate / Postgraduate Level Professional Courses in the State of Odisha.
The endeavour of the OJEE Committee has always been directed towards conducting Entrance Examinations and providing a fair, transparent and single-window admission process for various professional Undergraduate and Postgraduate level courses in the State, adopting effective state-of-the-art technology.
