NPPA Clarifies Pharma Data Tender Terms, Technical Presentations on Sept 19

New Delhi:The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) conducted a pre-bid meeting on Tuesday for the tender regarding the hiring of an agency to provide data and information on pharmaceutical products. The meeting, chaired by S. Ahlladini Panda, Member Secretary, NPPA, was held in hybrid mode at NPPA’s office in New Delhi. The meeting was attended by NPPA officials, including Shri Sanjay Kumar, Advisor (Cost); Shri Aman Kumar Bharti, Director; Shri Pallav Kumar Chittej, Deputy Director; and Shri Madan Mohan Yadav, ASO. Representatives of M/s Pharmarack Technologies Pvt. Ltd. attended in person, while M/s MARG ERP Ltd. joined virtually. During the session, prospective bidders raised queries on tender requirements. M/s Pharmarack Technologies Pvt. Ltd. sought clarification on the submission of the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) and the timeline for technical presentations. NPPA clarified that the EMD must be submitted physically within the bid submission period, with a scanned copy uploaded on the CPPP portal, while the technical presentation is scheduled for September 19, 2025, at 3:00 PM. MARG ERP Ltd. raised a query on the period of historical data to be furnished. NPPA clarified that bidders are required to submit data for at least the past five years, in line with the periodicity mentioned in the bid document. The circular highlighted the questions put forth by the participating agencies and the corresponding clarifications given: Name of Agency Clarification 1.M/s Pharmarack Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (i) Whether the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is to be submitted physically? The EMD should be submitted physically during the bid submission period and a scanned copy must also be uploaded on the CPPP portal along with the tender document. (ii) When will the presentation, as per the Technical Qualification Criteria, be required? The proposed date for the presentation is 19th Sep,2025 at 3:00 P.M. 2. M/s MARG ERP Ltd. The period of historical data that is required to be provided. The periodicity for the submission of the data is already mentioned in the bid document. While furnishing the data, the agency is required to give data for atleast last 5 past years from the month in which data is being submitted. Furthermore, participants were informed, "The last date for seeking clarification as mentioned in the tender document is 16:00 Hrs. of 28.08.2025; hence, the prospective bidders were requested to submit any further issue on which clarification is required through the email id provided in the tender document before said time and date."
