Taking strict cognisance of the reported involvement of accused doctors in theRed Fort Blastcase, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has cancelled their licenses. According to a recent notification issued by the NMC in this regard, the apex medical commission has removed the names of 4 doctors from the National Medical Register after they were charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act following the Delhi blast. Following this, these doctors will not be allowed to practice medicine or to hold any appointment as a medical practitioner till further orders from the commission.
