NIRF 2024: Here Are UP'S Medical, Dental Colleges This Year

Uttar Pradesh- Four medical colleges among the top 50 and three dental colleges among the top 40 in Uttar Pradesh have been ranked among in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 rankings.
As per the NIRF 2024 ranking, four medical colleges namely Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, King George`s Medical University and Aligarh Muslim University have been ranked in the top 50.

Similarly, the three dental colleges - King George`s Medical University, Banaras Hindu University and Aligarh Muslim University have been ranked in the top 40.
In the top 50 medical institutes released by NIRF under the Ministry of Education, Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences has secured 6th rank with 70.07 marks, Banaras Hindu University has secured 7th rank with 69.54 marks, King George`s Medical University has secured 19th rank with 61.95 and Aligarh Muslim University has secured 27th rank with 58.07 marks.
Meanwhile, in the top 40 dental colleges, King George`s Medical University has secured 4th rank with 72.36 marks, Banaras Hindu University has secured 17th rank with 55.69 marks and Aligarh Muslim University has secured 18th rank with 55.33 marks.
The rankings of the top Dental Colleges and top medical colleges across India were disclosed in a press conference by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. For 2024, the NIRF ranking process continues to provide a comprehensive "overall" ranking alongside specific rankings in categories such as universities, research institutes, degree colleges, innovation and discipline-specific areas including engineering.
