The Ministry of Education has initiated a detailed analysis to evaluate the feasibility of conducting theNEETexam in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The move aims to assess whether the shift from the traditional pen-and-paper method to an online format could impact students' performance and access to theexam. Speaking to PTI, the officials informed that the Ministry of Education is conducting a data analysis to understand the feasibility of conducting the medical entrance exam NEET-UG in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Detailed deliberations have been conducted several times between the education and health ministries on whether to conduct the exam in pen-and-paper or online mode; however, the plan has not taken off yet.
