NEET PG Admissions In Assam: Round 2 Counselling Begins Today

Assam: The Director of Medical Education (DME Assam) announced the schedule for round 2 of the counselling process for admission into 50% postgraduate seats in government medical colleges of Assam and BBCI Guwahati under Assam state quota, session 2022.
The selection list for provisional admission into postgraduate courses in government medical colleges under the state health service quota has also been released.

As per the notice, online registration for the counselling will be available at the official website of this Directorate, www.dme.assam.gov.in.
Eligibility -
1. Candidates who appeared in NEET-PG-2022 conducted by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi and who meet the cut-off scores in NEET PG-2022 and are eligible as per "Medical Colleges of Assam (Regulation of Admission into Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses) Rules, 2021" can participate in the online counselling.
2. Except for the NEC- candidates, the name and NEET PG-2022 Roll No. of the candidates must be present in the list of eligible candidates published by this Directorate.
Non-eligibility -
1. The candidates who have joined up to round 2 of AIQ shall not be eligible to participate in the counselling process.
DME has further notified that Round 2 of the counselling process for State Health Service Quota seats will be held offline only. The date for offline counselling shall be intimated in due course.
34 candidates are selected for provisional admission to postgraduate courses in government medical colleges of Assam under the state health service quota. The detailed list is enclosed in the notice below.
The selected candidates under State Health Service Quota will have to report for provisional admission into the course in their respective Colleges during office hours on or before 18th October 2022 with necessary Government release order etc., failing of which their allotment will be cancelled. All the other terms and conditions will remain the same per this Directorate Admission Notice dated 7th October 2022.
