Gujarat - NEET MDS Special Vacancy Round 2024

The Director of Medical Education (DME) Gujarat has started the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) special vacancy round online option filling for the academic year 2024.

DME Gujarat began the NEET MDS special vacancy round online option filling on 15th October 2024 and will continue till 18th October 2024 at 11:00 AM. After completion of the choice-filling process, the choices filled by the candidates will be displayed on 18 October 2024 at 05:00 PM.

Along with this, DME Gujarat has also released the vacant seat positions after round 4 for 2024-25. As per the vacant seat positions, a total of 42 seats are vacant across 9 MDS Courses.

Vacant Seat Positions

The Government of Gujarat had constituted the "Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC)" to regulate the admission of candidates to the CPS Diploma courses. The mission assigned to this Committee is to carry out the counselling process fairly and transparently. The admission process is conducted by this Committee strictly based on the candidate's merit.

The Gujarat Government has also established the Admission Committee for Professional Post-Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC) to regulate the admission of candidates to professional medical courses. The functions of the Gujarat Medical Council include the maintenance of the Register, and providing for the registration of Medical practitioners, containing the names, and addresses of medical practitioners who possess any of the recognized medical qualifications. to reprimand a practitioner, or to suspend or remove him from the register, or to take such other disciplinary action against him as may, in the opinion of the Council, be necessary or expedient.
