NEET MDS 2024 Results Out, Know Cut-Off Percentile Here

New Delhi- The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery NEET MDS 2024. NEET-MDS 2024 was conducted by the NBE on March 18, 2024 in a single session through a computer-based platform at various examination centres across the country.
The result of NEET-MDS has been declared on the official website of NBE, however, it was scheduled to be declared on 18th April 2024. Meanwhile, candidates can download their scorecards from April 12 using their login credentials through the official website of NBE.

"Each question in NEET-MDS 2024 was reviewed by subject experts of the respective expertise after the conduct of NEET-MDS 2024 to double-check the technical correctness of the questions and the answer key. However, the official notice from NBE in this regard states that one question in the question paper of NEET-MDS 2024 was found to be technically incorrect, but full marks were given to the students who appeared in the exam, irrespective of the fact whether the question been attempted or not attempted by the candidates," the NBE said in the notice.

The cut-off scores for different categories as per the minimum qualifying/eligibility criteria for admission to MDS courses are as follows:

The NEET-MDS 2024 result shows the scores obtained by the candidates and their NEET-MDS 2024 rank. The rank of NEET MDS 2023 is based on the overall qualifying position of the candidate among all the candidates who appeared in NEET-MDS 2024.
The merit position for All India 50% Quota seats will be declared separately. The final merit list/category-wise merit list for State Quota seats shall be generated by the States/UT as per their qualifying/eligibility criteria, applicable guidelines/Regulations & reservation policy, the notice added.

Furthermore, the NBE notice also directs that if at any stage, candidates are found using any unfair means in the examination, such candidates will be liable for such penal action as deemed fit by NBEMS. Also, in the event of any such candidate being declared successful in NEET-MDS 2024, the result/candidature of such candidates will be cancelled and/or deemed as cancelled.
had earlier reported that MDS aspirants had approached the Supreme Court seeking postponement of the exam and an extension of the deadline to complete the BDS internship. However, the NEET MDS 2024 exam did not get rescheduled, issuing a notice in this regard, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) confirmed that the exam would be conducted on its scheduled date i.e. on 18th March 2024. Meanwhile, based on the directions issued by the Union Health Ministry, NBEMS extended the deadline for completion of the BDS internship till 30th June 2024.
