NEET Counselling 2021 Update

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee, MCC of DGHS, on January 27 released and later took down the provisional allotment results of the Round 1 NEET Counselling 2021 from its official website.

"The Candidates participating in NEET-UG, 2021 counselling are informed that the provisional result of round 1 has been pulled down due to the hearing held on 27/01/2022 in W.P. of 2022 in the matter of Gidla Bala Surya Chandra & others v/s UoI & Ors. before the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Madras," the MCC in its notification, posted on the website said.

Earlier, the MCC declared the Provisional Result for Round-1 of NEET 2021 Counselling on the website. In a separate notification, the MCC had said that the final seat allotment results were to be announced today, Friday, January 28.

"The Provisional Result for Round-1 of NEET UG 2021 Counselling is now available. Final result will be displayed on 28th January, 2022. Any discrepancy in the result may be immediately informed to MCC of DGHS up to 10:00 AM of 28th January, 2022 through email…." the MCC had said in the notification of provisional seat allotment result.

Later, the counselling body said the provisional allotment result has been withdrawn. As of now, there is no official confirmation when the final seat allotment result will be announced. However, as per the counselling schedule announced earlier, the results were scheduled to be declared on January 29.

Only for Central Institutes of Nursing Courses for NEET 15% AIQ/ 100% Deemed/Central Universities/ESIC/AFMS (Only Registration Part) and AIIMS/ JIPMER (Puducherry/ Karaikal) Seats for the Academic Year 2021

1st Round

• Verification of Seat Matrix by Institutes: 17th January, 2022 to 18th January, 2022
• Registration / Payment: 19th January, 2022 to 24th January, 2022 up to 12:00 NOON (as per Server Time). Payment facility will be available up to 03:00 PM of 24th January, 2022 as per Server Time
• Choice Filling/Locking: 20th January to 24th January, 2022 (up to 11:55 PM) as per Server Time. Choice Locking from 04:00 PM of 24.01.2022 to 11:55 PM of 17.01.2022 as per Server Time
• Verification of Internal Candidates by the respective University / Institutes: 25th January, 2022 to 26th January, 2022
• Processing of Seat Allotment: 27th January, 2022 to 28th January, 2022
• Result: 29th January, 2022
• Reporting: 30th January, 2022 to 4th February, 2022

2nd Round

• Verification of Seat Matrix by Institutes: 7th February, 2022 to 8th February, 2022
• Registration / Payment: 9th February, 2022 to 14th February, 2022 up to 12:00 NOON as per Server Time. Payment facility will be available up to 03:00 PM of 14th February, 2022 as per Server Time
• Choice Filling/Locking: 10th February, 2022 to 14th February, 2022 (till 11:55 PM) as per Server Time. Choice Locking from 04:00 PM to 11:55 PM of 14th February, 2022, as per Server Time
• Verification of Internal Candidates by the respective University / Institutes: 15th February, 2022 to 16th February, 2022
• Processing of Seat Allotment: 17th February, 2022 to 18th February, 2022
• Result: 19th February, 2022
• Reporting: 20th February, 2022 to 26th February, 2022
