NBE Revises Date Of Final Practical Exam In DNB Anaesthesiology

Delhi: Through a recent notice, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) announced the revised date of the DNB Anaesthesiology Final practical exam, April 2023 session. The exam, which was earlier scheduled to be held on 11th September 2023 will now be held on 14th September 2023.
"Please refer to the NBEMS notice dated 26/07/2023 wherein the schedule of DNB/DrNB Practical Examination, April 2023 session having OSCE components was announced.The date of DNB Anaesthesiology practical examination which was scheduled on 11/09/2023 (Monday) has been re-scheduled to be held on 14/09/2023," the recent notice issued by NBE stated
There is no change in the date of DNB Final Practical Exam, April 2023 session for the other specialties, the NBE further clarified

DNB Anaesthesiology or Diplomate of National Board in Anaesthesiology also known as DNB in Anaesthesiology is a Postgraduate level course for doctors in India that is done by them after completion of their MBBS. The duration of this postgraduate course is 3 years, and it focuses on the study of various concepts related to the field of Anaesthesia such as General Anaesthesia, Sedation, and Regional Anaesthesia. It deals with the relief of pain and sensation in the brain of the surgical patient before, undergoing, and after surgery.
