Delhi: National Board of Examinations (NBE) to Open Edit Window for NEET-MDS 2023

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will open the edit window for all applicants of NEET-MDS 2023 courses from today (2.2.2023).

Per the notice, candidates who have successfully submitted their examination fee for NEET-MDS 2023 during the application submission window shall be allowed to edit their applications from 2nd February 2023 (3 PM onwards) to 5th February 2023 (till 11:55 PM).

No new application can be registered, or examination fee payment can be made during the edit window. However, if any, the balance fee required in case of a change in candidate category and/or PwD status can be paid during the edit window.

The candidates note that any information mentioned in the application and/or document(s) uploaded therein can be changed/corrected during the edit window except for Candidate Name, Test City, Nationality, Mobile Number, and Email ID.

Editable information/images/documents can be changed any number of times before finally clicking on the “Submit” button. Once the updated information is submitted by clicking the Submit button, no further changes shall be allowed during the edit window. Clause 2.8.1 and 8.20 of the Information Bulletin for NEET-MDS 2023 should be read accordingly.

If changes in payment-dependent fields (such as category and/or PwD status) require you to make an additional payment of Rs. 1000, such changes will only be saved after the successful payment of the balance fee. If the payment of the balance fee required is not made or the transaction gets failed, changes made in all the fields shall be updated except the payment-dependent fields. To update payment-dependent fields, please log in again, click on the “Go to Application” button, edit the required fields, preview the changes, and click on the submit button to complete the payment.

The image upload instructions are detailed in the NEET-MDS 2023 information bulletin. The detailed instructions are enclosed in the notice below. Some candidates have not uploaded their photographs, signatures and/or thumb impressions as prescribed Image Upload Instructions. Such candidates are required to rectify the image(s) in their application form during the edit window.

All candidates for NEET-MDS 2023 are advised to go through the Image Upload Instructions carefully. Please be apprised that uploading images in the application form, not by the guidelines prescribed or failing to rectify the images in the edit window/final edit window shall invite rejection of the application.

Possible Reasons for Image Rejection

Invalid Captured and Uploaded Photograph

  • Photograph older than 3 months
  • Lack of light in the room
  • Not using white/light coloured background
  • Overexposed/underexposed photo
  • Absence of formal attire while taking the photo
  • Objects behind you while capturing the photograph
  • Blurred image; Poor image quality
  • Eyes closed/not looking into the camera
  • Eyes not visible due to glare on spectacles
  • Black and white photograph
  • Uploading photograph showing it on a mobile phone
  • Cropped photograph from a group photo
  • Does not contain the full face, ears, neck, and shoulders of the entrant in frontal view; Side pose taken/selfie uploaded
  • Defective hue of the photo

Invalid Signature

  • Blurred signatures
  • Signature in capital letters
  • Signature on ruled page
  • Initials only; Not complete signatures
  • Whole page has been scanned and uploaded instead of the box drawn for signatures

Invalid Thumb Impression

  • Pressed too lightly
  • Pressed too hard
  • Too much ink
  • Not enough ink covering the entire fingertip
  • Center loop and/or Deltas not legible
  • Whole page has been scanned and uploaded instead of the box drawn for the impression
