NBE Opens Edit Window For FET 2022, Details

Delhi: National Board of Examinations (NBE) has opened the edit window for Fellowship Entrance Test (FET 2022). The list of candidates required to resubmit images in their applications has also been released.
Candidates who have successfully submitted their examination fee for FET 2022 during the application submission window will be allowed to edit their applications. The editing process can be carried out till 11:55 pm today (30.1.2023). The important dates, clause 3.8.1 and clause 9.20 of the Information Bulletin for FET 2022, should be read accordingly.
No new application can be registered, or payment can be made during the edit window. Any information mentioned in the application and/or documents uploaded therein can be changed/corrected during the edit window except for Candidate Name, Test City, Nationality, Mobile Number and Email ID. Information can be edited any number of times before the closure of the window. The last submitted information will be saved in the records.
The image upload instructions are detailed in the FET 2022 information bulletin. The details related to image instructions are enclosed in the notice below. As per NBE, some candidates have not uploaded their photographs, signatures and/or thumb impressions as prescribed Image Upload Instructions. Such candidates must rectify the images in their application form during the edit window.

After the closure of the edit window, deficiency, if any, related to images uploaded in the application form will be communicated again to concerned candidates. The final corrections in images uploaded can be done during the selective/final edit window, i.e. 1.2.2023 to 2.2.2023. The important dates, clause 3.8.2 and clause 9.25 of the Information Bulletin for FET 2022, should be read accordingly.
Possible reasons for image rejection –
Invalid captured/uploaded photograph –
1. Photograph older than three months
2. Lack of light in the room
3. Not using white/light coloured background
4. Overexposed/underexposed photo
5. Absence of formal attire while taking a photo
6. Objects behind you while capturing the photograph
7. Blurred image; Poor image quality
8. Eyes closed/not looking into the camera
9. Eyes not visible due to glare on spectacles
10. Black and white photograph
11. Uploading photograph showing it on a mobile phone
12. Cropped photograph from a group photo
13. Does not contain the entire face, ears, neck, and shoulders of the entrant in frontal view; Side pose taken/selfie uploaded
14. Defective hue of the photo
Invalid signature –
1. Blurred signatures
2. Signature in capital letters
3. Signature on ruled page
4. Initials only; Not complete signatures
5. Whole page has been scanned and uploaded instead of the box drawn for signatures
Invalid thumb impression –
1. Pressed too lightly
2. Pressed too hard
3. Too much ink
4. Not enough ink covering the entire fingertip
5. Center loop and/or Deltas not legible
6. Whole page has been scanned and uploaded instead of the box drawn for the impression
