Nagpur Doctor Booked After Nurse Alleges Molestation

                                    Nagpur: A 40-year-old doctor, an owner of a health care cum old age home has been booked for allegedly molesting a nurse employed at the old age home on Wednesday.
The case was registered against the doctor based on the complaint of the 19-year-old nurse who alleged that the doctor molested her late at night in an old age home where she was employed.
The doctor has been identified as a resident of Mangaldeep Nagar in the city who appointed by the nurse two days ago to serve in the facility. In her complaint, the nurse alleged that when she was sleeping at night in her room, the doctor intruded into her room and tried to molest her.

"In her complaint, the 19-year-old victim told the police that she was appointed as a nurse by the accused at his healthcare centre-cum-old age home two days ago," an official told PTI.
"When she was asleep in a room there, he came and molested her," he added. Based on her complaint, a case under IPC section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) has been registered, police added.
A similar incident took place in Mumbai last year also where a nurse had lodged a complaint and alleged that the doctor had sought sexual favours from her and passed lewd remarks at her.
