MUHS Begins Online Dissertation Submission Process For PG Ayurveda, Unani Students Admitted In 2022-23

Maharashtra: Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has begun the online submission process of Title & Synopsis of Dissertations of postgraduate students admitted in the academic year 2022-23 in affiliated Ayurved and Unani Colleges/Institutes.
Detailed schedule –
1. Last Date to update Student Profile by the College – 2.6.2023
2. To complete the verification process of Teacher: Student Ratio by the University – 12.6.2023
3. Facility to upload Title & Synopsis by Student & Verification by the College shall be available from – 13.6.2023.
4. Last Date for Submission of Title & Synopsis by the Student/ College (Without Late Fees i.e. Rs.600/-) – 8.9.2023
5. Extended Last Date for submission of Title & Synopsis by the Student/ College (With Late Fees i.e. Rs.600 + Rs.200 (per week)) – 8.10.2023
6. Grant of Approval to Title & Synopsis proposals by the University – 8.92023 & onwards
MUHS has further stated that the BORS Committee must approve Title & Synopsis before uploading.
The cut-off date for postgraduate admission for the academic year 2022-23 of Ayurved and Unani courses was 8.4.2023. Therefore, the Colleges conducting postgraduate courses (MD/MS) under the Faculty of Ayurved and Unani must submit a proposal of Title & Synopsis of the admitted students through the online system per the above schedule.

It is mandatory for postgraduate guides to update their Teacher's Profile in Academic Online Teachers Database. For those who fail to do so, the University will not grant their approval of the Title & Synopsis of the Dissertation. The names of such Guide/(s) will not be considered for appointment of Examinership, including Practical Examination of the University. To update Teachers' profiles, the concerned teachers must approach the College Coordinator appointed by the College.
The title & Synopsis of Dissertation proposals submitted by the Colleges through the online system will be deemed to be approved by the BORS Committee of the College. For those Colleges/students, who fail to submit Title & Synopsis proposals within the stipulated time period, the term of such students shall be extended to the period of late submission. Late fees of Rs.200 per week shall be levied on such students.
The Colleges must submit the Title & Synopsis of Dissertations through the online system of all eligible Postgraduate candidates within the stipulated time period. The Dean/ Principal of the College is requested to give wide circulation to this circular to all concerned at College/Institute level.
