Delhi: The Ministry of Ayush has allowed the AIAPGET-qualified candidates for 6 months internship to participate in the AACCC-PG counseling and State/UT Counseling for the academic year 2022-23 and onwards.

The notice stated that “With reference to the subject cited above, I am directed to say that considering various representations and recommendations, dated 12.01.2023, from the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (copy enclosed), the Ministry has decided to allow AIAPGET-qualified candidates of 6 months internship to participate in the AACCC-PG counseling and State/UT counseling for the academic year 2022-23 and onwards”.

The eligible candidates who register themselves at the official website of AACCC (www.aaccc.gov.in) are only allowed to participate in the counseling process. They are also required to pay non-refundable registration fees and refundable security deposits at the time of registration as per their category. AACCC does not approve any admission/registration made through offline mode.

Counseling for admission in All India Quota (AIQ) seats under Government, Government Aided, Deemed Universities, Central Universities, and National Institutes, as well as internal seats of Banaras Hindu University for the session 2022-23, is conducted by Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.

The Ministry of Ayush was formed on the 9th of November 2014 with a vision of reviving the profound knowledge of our ancient systems of medicine and ensuring the optimal development and propagation of the Ayush healthcare systems. Earlier, the Department of Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy (ISM&H), formed in 1995, was responsible for developing these systems. It was then renamed the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga, and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (Ayush) in November 2003 with focused attention towards education and research in Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy.
