MCC Releases Tentative Schedule Of MDS Counselling 2021 For States

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the tentative schedule of MDS counselling 2021 for states.
Issuing a notice in this regard, Dr B. Srinivas the additional Director-General wrote to Dr Sabhyasachi Saha, Secretary, Dental Council of India and said, "a Tentative Schedule for conduction of MDS Counselling 2021 by states has been prepared which is under consideration by the MoHFW."
The date of commencement of the session for MDS courses may be informed to MCC. Also, DCI may approach the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the matter of Ashish Ranjan vs. UOI & ors. for the revised schedule for this academic year once the schedule is finalized, the letter read.

Counselling was stalled on 27.08.2021 and kept on hold till 26.09.2021 due to decision pending in SLP bearing Diary no. 20808 of 2021 for seeking clarification against the judgement dated 25.08.2021 passed by the Hon'ble High Court of Madras in the matter of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam Vs. UoI & Ors).

Recently, the MCC had notified about the resignation process for NEET MDS candidates who have joined Round 1 seats and now want to resign or surrender the seat allotted to them.
All the concerned candidates and stakeholders are hereby informed that the Reporting module for Round-1 of NEET MDS Counselling 2021 will end on 04.10.2021 as per schedule. Candidates who have joined their allotted seats of Round-1 and now want to surrender/ resign the seat allotted to them in Round-1 may do so from 02.10.2021(Saturday) till 05:00 P.M (as per server time) of 06.10.2021 (Wednesday)
