MCC Releases Provisional List of Eligible Candidates for NRI Quota in NEET 2025 Counselling

New Delhi-The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the list of the candidates found to be eligible for filling the NRI choices for the UG Counselling 2025 (MBBSandBDSSeats). Therefore, through an official notice issued by the MCC in this regard, it has been informed the candidates that the allotment of seats under the NRI Category will be conducted based on the Priority 1 and 2 system. Meanwhile, as per the notice, the candidates are considered eligible for filling NRI choices after due scrutiny by the committee of the documents, as provided by the candidates. The allotment process will be carried out in sequential order, giving preference to Priority 1 candidates first, followed by Priority 2 candidates, subject to seat availability. i NRI Candidates. ii Children of NRIs. i First-degree relatives of NRI wards. ii Second-degree relatives of NRI wards. The list is provisional and candidates are advised to ensure that all required original documents (proof of NRI status, relationship certificates, etc.) are submitted correctly at the time of reporting at the allotted medical college and in case there is a deficiency of documents, the college can cancel the seat allotment. Prior to this, MCC has issued a notice for the candidates who claim to be NRI/OCI or want to get their nationality converted from Indian to NRI. On this, has recently reported that, through a notice, MCC has informed about the updated list of mandatory documents for the NRI quota. It has been informed to all the candidates that, in continuation of earlier MCC notices and Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) revised guidelines, the updated list of mandatory documents for NRI quota is as follows- 1NEET UGAdmit Card and Score Card. 2 Certificate of Relationship between the NRI relative and the candidate issued by the competent Revenue Authority through Family Tree. 3 Affidavit (Notarised) by the NRI relative stating that they will sponsor the entire course fee and living expenses of the candidate during the period of study, duly supported by NRE (Non-Resident External) Bank Account Pass Book. 4 10th & 12th mark sheets + passing certificate. 5 Birth certificate. 6 Passport of candidate/ Sponsorer (optional). 7 Proof of NRI Status of the parent/relative: i Valid Passport. ii Visa / Residence Permit / Work Permit. iv Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card / PIO card, if applicable. v NRI Certificate issued by the Competent Authority (Embassy / Indian Consulate).
