New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the seat matrix of Round 2 NEET Counselling 2023 indicating the number of MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing seats available at various medical colleges for the Round 2 counselling session for this academic year's admissions.
According to 3 separate documents released on the official website of MCC, a total of 11870 seats including 9798 MBBS, 1625 BDS and 447 BSc Nursing seats are in the clear vacancy seat matrix. Of the 5171 seats, 4881 MBBS, and 290 BDS seats are virtually vacant.
584 including 137 MBBS and 447 BSc Nursing seats have been newly added to the round 2 NEET counselling. Round 1 counselling was not conducted for the BSc Nursing seats, hence all these seats have been added to the Round 2 NEET Counselling.

The MCC kickstarted the Round 2 Choice filling process on August 10. Aspiring MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing candidates will have the opportunity to select their preferred choices and lock them in until August 15, 2023, through the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
The processing of seat allotment is scheduled from August 16 to 17, and the results for the second round of seat allotment are expected to be declared on August 18, 2023. Candidates who secure seats through this round will then need to upload their documents on the MCC portal on August 19.
Candidates who have been allocated seats in the NEET UG counselling 2023 Round 2 are required to report to their respective colleges between August 20 and 28 for final admission confirmation.
