MBBS Admission Scam: Suspended Sion Hospital Deputy Dean booked for duping doctor of Rs 70 lakh

The suspended deputy dean of Sion Hospital has once again come under police radar for MBBS admissionfraudafter he allegedly duped a Dharavi-based doctor of Rs 70 lakh four years ago, promising an MBBS seat for his daughter under the management quota at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital. This is the 6th time that the suspended doctor, has been booked in a cheating and fraud case. Along with him, three of his associates, including a doctor, have also been booked in connection with the case. The concerned deputy dean was suspended in 2023 after he was arrested in another case of amedical admissionscam.
