
MBBS, BDS Admission 2023: ESIC Extends Application Deadline For Ward Of IPs

Delhi: Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has extended the date of the online application process for admission of Wards of Insured Persons (IPs) in UG (MBBS, BDS) in ESIC Medical/Dental & some government medical colleges under seats allocated for them.
Per the revised schedule, the online link to apply for the “Ward of IP Certificate” will remain open until 31st May 2023 through the ESIC Website (www.esic.gov.in) window. The last date to issue a “Ward of IP Certificate” by the concerned ESIC Regional/Sub-Regional Office is extended up to 5th June 2023. Previously the last date to apply was 17th May 2023 till 11:59 pm, and the last date for issuing of 'Ward of IP Certificate' was 19th May 2023.
Candidates need to log in to the DGHS website (www.mcc.nic.in) and register themselves for the MBBS / BDS seats under 'Seats allocated for wards of insured persons (IPs)' in ESIC Medical / Dental Colleges as per instructions given on the website. All the interested/eligible Insured Persons (IPs) must apply well in time to avoid last-minute hassle.
Any issue in applying (online) for a Ward of IP Certificate may be reported to 011- 27552237 and mailed to itcare@esic.nic.in & Copy to (i) arun_ku@cms.co.in (ii) dmcdl@esic.nic.in.

While reporting to the above email ids following data must be shared –
1. Name of the Insured Person (IP)
2. Insurance Number
3. Mobile Number
4. Issue (problem) in detail
5. Screenshot of the Issue (if possible)
The candidates note that, while uploading a Photo of the IP, the file name should be IP Number e.g. 1100000034, and for a Photo of the ward, the file name should be NEET Roll No of the candidate e.g. 2023051234. ESIC Regional Office/Sub-Regional Office may report at ithelpdesk@esic.nic.in for any Ward of IP Certificate issue.
The candidates are advised to regularly visit/check the ESIC (www.esic.gov.in) and DGHS/MCC (www.mcc.nic.in) websites for further details/instructions. All processes/actions undertaken regarding admission under “Seats allocated for the ward of IP” for 2023-24 would be subject to final outcome in WA 2274 & 2304 of 2019 before the Hon’ble High Court of Madras.
