Manipur Doctors Win 7 Main Accolades In IMA NATCON 2021

Imphal: Doctors from Manipur won seven main accolades in the 96th Annual National Conference of Indian Medical Association, IMA NATCON 2021, Patna.
Indian Medical Association Manipur State Branch, Secretary, Dr Ng Arunkumar Singh said that in the 96th Annual National Conference of Indian Medical Association, IMA NATCON 2021, Patna (December 27 & 28, 2021), IMA Manipur State Branch won many accolades.

IMA Jagdishwarari Mishra Oration Award was conferred to Dr Jugindra Sorokhaibam on the topic, Palliative Care-Genesis of Manipur Model. IMA National President's Appreciation Award for IMA Membership Drive, was conferred to IMA Manipur State Branch.
IMA National President's Appreciation Award for the updation of Email and Mobile numbers was also conferred to IMA MANIPUR State Branch
IMA National President's Appreciation Award for Lifelong services was conferred to Dr Rajendra Sinam, Past Honorary State Secretary, IMA National President's Appreciation Award for Best IMA Project was conferred to Doctors on Pedals, Cycling Project (DOP), Dr Arunkumar Singh Ngangom.
IMA National President's Appreciation Award was conferred to Dr Nelson Loitongbam, and IMA National President's Appreciation Award was conferred to Dr Ashangbam Vivekananda Singh.
It may also be mentioned that Dr Jugindra Sorokhaibam, President IMA Manipur State Branch was awarded with The Academic Entrepreneurship Excellence Award in IMA Headquarter, Delhi on December 19, 2021.
IMA Manipur State Branch was established in 1961 and it is one of the oldest IMA Branch in North Eastern India. For decades the association has been addressing health issues of the state as well as on the welfare of Doctors in the state. It is encouraging that in recent times IMA Head Quarter has started recognizing the efforts made by a small state branch.
