Maha CET Cell Releases Seat Matrix For CAP Round 2 For BSc Nursing, Check Details

Maharashtra: Maha CET Cell has released the provisional seat matrix for BSc Nursing in Government/Government Aided/Corp./Private/Minority Colleges for the second round (CAP Round 2). The common provisional merit list for the same has also been released.
5892 seats are allotted for the second round. In private colleges, the number of seats is more as compared to government colleges.

The seat position is subject to change as per information from Institute/ MUHS, Nashik/NMC/DCI/Order of Hon’ble Courts/ State/ Central Government or any cancellation. The government / CET Cell Commissioner may change this seat position before the allotment of seats in CAP round(s).
Orphan Seats are distributed as per Women & Child Development Department GR. NO. Orphan-2018/CR 182/KA-03 dated 31.08.2021 4. Seats will be allotted only after permission from concerned authorities is received.
Per the schedule announced, the choice-filling process has begun and will continue till 10th January 2023, 11:59 pm. There will not be any choice/preference for subsequent rounds, and the same choice/ preference filled during round 2 will be used for betterment in subsequent rounds.

The selection list will be declared on 13th January 2023. The physical joining and filling status retention form with all original documents & requisite fees by DD/Cheque will begin from 14th January 2023 and continue till 18th January 2023, 6:00 pm.
Candidates who are allotted seats in round 1 based on NEET UG will have to register again. Such candidates should fill in preferences only if they want betterment. If such candidates do not fill the choice/preference, the seat allotted during Round 1 will be deemed retained.
In case equal marks in PCB Aggregates, the following procedure will be adopted for deciding inter-se merit –
1. First criteria: A candidate with higher marks in Biology at the 12th Standard shall be preferred. If the tie persists, then,
2. Second criteria: A candidate with higher marks in Chemistry at the 12th Standard shall be preferred. If the tie persists, then,
3. Third criteria: A candidate with higher marks in Physics at the 12th Standard shall be preferred. If the tie persists, then,
4. Fourth criteria: A candidate with higher marks in English at the 12th Standard shall be preferred. If the tie persists, then,
5. Fifth criteria: An older candidate shall be preferred over a younger candidate.
