KNRUHS Asks PwD NEET Candidates To Appear Before University Medical Board, Details

Hyderabad: Through a recent notice, the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has recently announced the date for Persons with Disability (PWD) to appear before the University Medical Board.
All the candidates are requested to appear at 10:00 am on 11th January 2022, mentioned the notice issued on 7th January 2022. The candidates will have to report at MRPR Room No.7, NIMS, Panjagutta, Hyderabad.
The admission process has already begun for the MBBS and BDS courses for this academic year. The online applications are invited from qualified candidates by securing a minimum of the cutoff scores in NEET 2021 under the Complete Authority Quota in Government, Private Medical & Dental Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS. The minimum qualifying criteria in the NEET exam for PWD is the 45th Percentile. The cutoff score is 122; General Category includes EWS 50th Percentile and cutoff score 138, and the SC/ST/BC & PWD of SC/ST/BC category 40th percentile and cutoff score 108.
The candidates can register online and upload scanned original certificates from 8:00 am to 5th January 2022 to 5:00 pm on 11th January 2022. The closure of admission will be as per the NMC orders.
KNRUHS has made it clear in the earlier notice issued on 4th January 2022 that for the admission, the candidate has to be an Indian National and should satisfy the Local or Non – Local status in Telangana State as laid down in Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions Orders, 1974. The selection will be done as per the procedure laid down in the G.O.P.No. 646 (10.7.1979) as amended in G.O.Ms.No 42, Higher Education Department ( Ec2, 18.5.2009), G.O.Ms.No. 114 HM&F (C1, 5.7.2017), subsequent amendments, and relevant Supreme / High Court orders.
The candidates should have passed Intermediate or its equivalent examination with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics / Biotechnology, and English. OC candidates need a minimum of 50% marks in science, whereas BC/SC/ST needs 40%, OC PWD needs 45% marks, and claiming reservations under the EWS category needs 50% marks. On 31st December 2021, the applying candidate should have completed 17 years of age. The candidates who are born on or after 2nd January 2005 are not eligible for admission.
