KEA Starts Registration, Enrollment Verification Process For Round 2 PG AYUSH Courses

Karnataka PG AYUSH Registration for 2022-23

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has started the registration and round 2 enrollment verification process for PG AYUSH (Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani) courses for 2022-23.

The candidates can register till 23.3.2023, up to 6:00 pm. They must first visit the KEA Website to register and enter the details online. The verification of documents will happen on 24.3.2023 at KEA Bangalore. The candidates will have to report at 10:00 am.

To become eligible for admission to PG seats available in round 2, provision has been given to register and apply online to Karnataka and non-Karnataka candidates who have not been registered with KEA till now and compulsorily appear for verification of documents if they are interested in participating in PG AYUSH courses in round 2.

Candidates have to compulsorily appear for verification of documents with the entire original documents and obtain eligibility to become eligible for round 2 AYUSH seat allotments. The verification process will not be carried out for those who come without original documents, and such candidates will not be eligible for the online seat allotment process. If during the verification, it is found that the candidates have produced fake, fraudulent certificates, they will be liable for criminal prosecution. Those who have already registered and held the verification slip should not appear for verification of documents.

Eligibility Criteria for PG AYUSH

  • It will be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum marks at the 50th percentile in AIAPGET 2022. Qualifying criteria for candidates belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and other backward classes, the minimum marks will be at the 40th percentile.
  • For candidates with benchmark disabilities specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum marks will be at the 45th percentile for the General category and the 40th percentile for scheduled castes, Scheduled tribes, and other backward classes. SC / ST / OBC eligibility criteria apply only to Karnataka SC / ST / OBC candidates.
  • The candidates should be a citizen of India.
  • The candidates should have studied and passed the courses leading to the award of a Bachelor's degree in AYUSH, i.e., BAMS / BNYS / BHMS / BUMS in colleges recognized by the National Commission for Indian Systems of Medicine (NCISM) or National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) and Government of India and affiliated to any University established by law in India and located in Karnataka State.
  • OR
  • Candidate must be of Karnataka origin and has studied Bachelor's degrees in AYUSH, i.e., BAMS / BNYS / BHMS / BUMS in colleges outside Karnataka recognized by the National Commission for Indian Systems of Medicine (NCISM) or National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) and Government of India and affiliated to any University established by law in India.
  • The candidates must have completed the 'Compulsory Rotating Internship' on or before 31st December 2022.
