Karnataka Examination Authority Announcement

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the 1st round of seat allotment results for UG Medical and Dental admission.

The candidates can view the allotment order from the link: Allotment Order.

The seat allotment list is prepared based on the merit of candidates and the choices filled by them. Candidates who have been allocated a seat and wish to continue with the same seat need to confirm on the official website of KEA and have to pay the fee and report to the allocated institute with the admission order.

Eligibility

• Candidates should be NEET UG qualified.
• Candidates must be citizens of India.
• Candidates who have cleared their class 10+2 examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subjects.
• Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December 2022.

NEET UG counselling is held for admission to various MBBS and BDS courses across government and private medical colleges across Karnataka. The counselling process has 2 rounds, i.e., rounds 1 and 2. A mop-up round is conducted if seats are left vacant after round 2. KEA conducts counselling for 85% state quota and 100% of private colleges seats. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for 15% of All India Quota seats.

Karnataka Examinations Authority is governed by the Governing Council headed by the Honourable Minister of Higher Education. The Government of Karnataka established the Common Entrance Test Cell in the year 1994 for conducting entrance tests and determining the eligibility/merit for admission to the first year or first semester of full-time professional courses for Government share of seats in Medical, Dental, Indian systems of medicine and Homeopathy, Engineering / Architecture Courses, Farm Science, i.e., B.Sc. (Agriculture), B.Sc. (Sericulture), B.Sc. (Horticulture), B.Sc. (Forestry), B.Sc. Agri Bio Tech, BHSc. (Home Science), B.Tech (Agri. Engg), B.Tech (Food Technology), B.Tech (Dairy Tech), B.FSc. (Fisheries), B.Tech (Food Science & Tech)., B.Sc. (Agri. Marketing & Co-Op), B-Pharma, Pharma-D Courses.

Recently, the team reported that KEA released the schedule for the 2nd round of PGET 2022 counselling for PG Medical and Dental admission. Per the notice, original documents can be deposited by First Round Choice 2 fee-paid candidates, Choice 3 candidates & un-allotted candidates. Already verified - only originals can be submitted from 09-11-2022 to 15-11-2022.
