Jharkhand:The Jharkhand Council of Medical Registration (JCMR) is going to close the application process for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) seeking internship placements under the CRMI Regulation 2021 in the state. According to the official notice issued by the JCMR in this regard, interestedFMGsmust apply through the council’s official website till October 14, 2025 (5:30 PM); the application fee is Rs 1000. INTERNSHIP SEAT AVAILABILITY The internship seats will be allotted only to candidates who are residents (domicile) of Jharkhand. The available seats in state medical institutions are as follows- 1 LCMH Bishrampur, Palamu- 08 seats. 2 MMCH Palamu- 02 seats. MERIT LIST CRITERIA The merit list will be prepared based on theNBEFMGE Screening Test scores. In case of a tie, preference will be given to candidates with higher marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects at the 10+2 level. The stipend for FMG interns will be decided by the respective medical college/institution, and the Jharkhand State Medical Council will not be liable for the payment or fixation of stipend amounts. KEY GUIDELINES 1 Applications will be scrutinised by the Jharkhand State Medical Council in line with CRMI Regulations 2021, and a merit list will be published on the council’s official website. 2 Selected candidates must join the internship within 20 days from the date of publication of the final list. Failure to report within the time limit will lead to automatic cancellation of allotment. 3 Once allotted, internship seats cannot be transferred or withdrawn under any circumstances. 4 If a candidate withdraws after seat allotment, the application fee will not be refunded. 5 The Jharkhand State Medical Council reserves the right to reject any application not fulfilling eligibility criteria or exceeding seat limits. ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS 1 Only Jharkhand domicile candidates (supported by a passport or residential certificate issued by the SDO) are eligible.2 After applying online, candidates must visit the JCMR office with original documents, xerox copies, and an affidavit for verification.3 Applicants must also upload scanned copies of all relevant documents online.
