Ahmedabad: Intas Pharma has announced the appointment ofAkash Kalal as General Manager – API Production. The company shared the update in a recent LinkedIn post, highlighting Kalal’s extensive experience in pharmaceutical production and operations management. Prior to joining Intas, Kalal served as Site Operation Head at SPC Lifesciences. Over the course of his career, he has held key roles at several major pharmaceutical companies, including Macleods Pharmaceuticals, Lupin, Ranbaxy, Symbiotec Pharma, and Dishman Pharmaceutical & Chemicals Ltd. Intas is a vertically integrated global pharmaceutical formulation development, manufacturing, and marketing company. Intas has set up a network of subsidiaries, under the umbrella name of Accord Healthcare to operate in global markets. Over the years, Intas has grown both organically and via acquisition, expanding its product portfolio and operations year on year. It is currently present in more than 85 countries worldwide. Intas is currently investing in a higher barrier to entry developments such as Biosimilar and New Chemical Entities.
