Income Tax Raid At Yatharth Hospitals

Noida: The income tax department on Thursday raided multiple premises of the Yatharth hospital group in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi on charges of alleged tax evasion amounting to crores of ruppees
The group’s offices and premises in Noida, Greater Noida, Jhansi and Delhi are being covered since morning, they said. According to news sources, the raid began at 5 am on Thursday morning and is expected to continue for three days.

The sources said the department has seized some documents and is questioning some of the key managerial persons of the group.
Income Tax Department officials have raided Noida's Yarthath Group following a complaint regarding tax evasion. As per a report in Navbharat Times, the raid comes after IT department has been continuously receiving complaints of tax manipulation and unaccounted transactions. The Income Tax Department team of Delhi Unit is conducting raids.
The Yatharth Group runs multi-speciality hospitals in Noida and Greater Noida in UP, and Orchha in Niwari district of Madhya Pradesh. The group has has 3 branches in Gautam Buddha Nagar district, out of which the first branch is in Sector-110 of Noida. The second branch is in Omega Sector of Greater Noida while the third branch is in Bisrakh, Greater Noida West.
This is the third known income tax raid being conducted on a noida hospital. Earlier raids were made on Metro Hospital as well as Neo hospital
Billionaire Founders
The two main owners of the hospital, made it to the Hurun India Rich List 2023 this year with a joint net worth of Ajay Kumar Tyagi and Kapil Kumar stands at Rs 2400 crore, as per Nav Bharat Times Dr Ajay Kumar Tyagi, who did his MBBS from LLRM Medical College and Diploma in Orthopedics from KGMU is the Chairman and Whole-time Director of Yatharth Group of Hospitals, while Kapil Kumar, who is the Managing Director of the company, is also an orthopedician who did his MBBS from SN Medical college agra and MS Orthopedics from Lucknow university
NBT reports that as per rating goes Ajay is the 18th millionaire in UP, the other owner, Kapil Kumar Tyagi is the 30th millionaire.
