Hamirpur Medical College: 20 Medicos Joined For Senior Residency

Hamirpur: The Himachal Pradesh government has posted twenty specialized medicos in the Hamirpur Medical College and all of them have joined their duties from today. Dr. Suman Yadav, the Principal of the Medical College said that the newly appointed specialist doctors have been posted here for senior residency for three years.
These specialists are posted in the departments of Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, Ortho, Psychiatry, Anesthesia, Community Medicine, Pathology, Radiotherapy, Skin, and Forensic Medicine. With this, the services of specialist doctors will be available round the clock in the medical college.

Apart from Hamirpur, people of different areas adjoining Bilaspur, Mandi, and Kangra districts will also get a lot of convenience. Dr. Suman Yadav said that now post-graduation course has also been started at Medical College Hamirpur.
Two trainees joined last week for DNB courses in the Department of General Medicine. With the introduction of DNB courses, patients will also get 24-hour health facilities in the Department of General Medicine.
The Principal said that the State Government and the College Administration are determined to provide better facilities to the people in the Medical College and Hospital, Hamirpur. All possible steps are being taken in this direction, she added.
