Ahmedabad- The Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute (GCRI) Ahmedabad has released 49 vacancies for the various Teaching/Non Teaching/Senior Resident posts.

Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute (GCRI) established in the year 1972, is a functional autonomous body jointly managed by Government of Gujarat and Gujarat Cancer Society, affiliated to B J Medical College. It is also a Regional Cancer Centre of Government of India and getting assistance under the National Cancer Control Programme.

Vacancies are in the Department of - Palliative Medicine, Radiotherapy, Surgical Oncology, Gynaec Oncology, Medical Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Oncology, Pathologist, Arogya, B.M.T (Bone Marrow Transplant), Surgeon and Neuro Physician.

1. Qualification and Teaching experience should be as per Medical Council of India, New Delhi and Health and Family Welfare Department Government of Gujarat recruitment rules as amended from time to time.


2. Pay and allowances will be as per existing rules.


3. Basic Knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification & Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.


4. The selection list will remain valid for a period of one year or till another is published, whichever is earlier. The candidates with less teaching experience on the day of interview will not be considered.
