Netherlands: Researchers have found in a new modeling study that in severely thrombocytopenicpreterm infants, there is a significant individual variation in the predicted benefits and harms of prophylacticplatelet transfusionat platelet counts below 50 × 10⁹/L, depending on clinical characteristics.
