Dr YSR University Of Health Sciences Invites Online Application For MSc Nursing Courses, Register Till 15th November

Andhra Pradesh: Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences has invited online applications for admission into MSc (Nursing) courses for the academic year 2023-24.
The candidates willing to apply for the above course can apply till 6.00 P.M. on 15-11-2023 at the website mentioned in the notice below.

Verification fee –
The candidates who studied B.Sc(N) & Post Basic B.Sc(N) outside the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana (other than Dr. YSRUHS) are required to pay Rs.1,180/- towards the Verification fee in addition to the above registration fee.

1. Date of Birth Certificate (SSC Marks Memo).
2. Intermediate Marks Memo OR Equivalent
3. Original Degree OR provisional Certificate of B.Sc (Nursing) / Post Basic B.Sc(N)
4. Study Certificates – B.Sc (N) / Post Basic B.Sc(N) (If More than one certificate, scan all into a single PDF file)
5. University Marks Memos of B.Sc (N) / Post Basic B.Sc(N)/ IGNOU from 1st to Final Year (If More than one certificate, scan all into a single PDF file)
6. Caste Category Certificate (If applicable)
7. PWD Certificate (If applicable)
8. Aadhar Card
9. Residence certificate of the candidate or either parent issued by MRO/Tahasildar of Telangana/AP for a period of ten (10) - years (Period to be specified with exact month and year) excluding the period of study/employment out- outside the state.

Eligibility –
Age: Both the Service and Non-service candidates should not have completed 45 years of age as of 31-12-2023. For candidates belonging to SC and STs, the maximum age limit shall be 48 years.
Sex: Both women and men candidates are eligible to apply for the M.Sc. (Nursing) as per GO.Ms. No. 77, HM & FW (K1) Dept, dated 13.06.2013. Regarding male candidates, admission will be as per G.O.Ms.No.79, HM & FW (K1) Dept, dated 17.06.2013.
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed B.Sc. (Nursing) /B.Sc., Hons (Nursing)/Post Basic B.Sc., (Nursing) from an Institution which is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and 5% relaxation of marks for SC and ST candidates.
The candidates who qualified for Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) from IGNOU through distance education are also eligible if the study centre is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
The candidates who completed Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) from any IGNOU study centres can make an application for admission into the M.Sc., (N) course provided they have been admitted to IGNOU study centres prior to the year 2012. The students who have undergone a P.B.B.Sc(N) course from IGNOU after this date are eligible for admission into M.Sc.(N) only if the study centres are recognized by IGNOU.

Registration with Nursing Council –
Candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife of the Indian Nursing Council for Service and Non-Service candidates.
In the case of B.Sc., (N) candidates, those who registered in the Nursing Council prior to 31.10.2022 are only eligible. Those who registered after 31.10.2022 are not eligible for this admission year 2023-24.
In the case of Post B.Sc., (N) candidates who registered in the Nursing Council prior to 31.10.2023 are only eligible. Those who registered after 31.10.2023 are not eligible for this admission year 2023-24.
Experience –
For Service Candidates:
Should be a regular employee of the Government of AP/Telangana as per the para 12 of AP Education Institutes (Regulations of Admissions) order 1974 (AP Medical & Health Services and AP Vaidya Vidhana Parishad / Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad) and should have put in not less than 5 years of Service in the said Dept., in any capacity in Nursing as on 31.10.2023.
For Regular Candidates (Non - Service candidates):
Minimum one year of work experience after Registration of B.Sc. (Nsg.) Degree in Nursing Council as of 31.10.2023 is required. That means the candidates who registered in the Nursing Council as of 31.10.2022 are only eligible, and those who registered in the Nursing Council after 31.10.2022 are not eligible as they will not complete one year of experience by 31.10.2023.
Minimum one year of work experience prior to Registration of Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) course as of 31.10.2023.
Experience Certificate, once submitted, is final. No alterations/ no revised service certificate will be accepted after submission of the application. The candidates who have not acquired relevant service and have not submitted requisite service certificates, such applications will be rejected, and no further correspondence will be entertained. Therefore, candidates are advised to check the application before submitting it.
Physical fitness –
The candidate shall be medically fit.
Merit list –
1. The selection of candidates will be made by the selection committee as per the merit list.
2. The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in B.Sc., (N)/ B.Sc., Hons (Nursing)/Post Basic B.Sc., (Nursing) group subjects up to two decimal places. (all subjects) excluding computer sciences and English marks.
3. As the Merit list will be prepared based on Group subjects, the candidates, while filling up of Online application, shall enter the total marks, excluding English marks and computer Science Marks, as the case may be.
4. In case of equality aggregate marks, age shall be taken into consideration, and older candidates shall be given higher places in the merit list.
The process of admissions into M.Sc., (N) Courses will be in accordance with the orders issued by Govt. of A.P. vide G.O.Ms.No.338, HM&FW (K2) Dept., dt.16.09.2008, G.O.Ms.No.33, HM&FW(C2) Dept., dt.18-02-2020 and other rules as applicable to PG Medical and Dental courses.
The certificate verification will be conducted based on the uploaded scanned certificates. No separate notification will be given for verification of original certificates. Scrutiny of uploaded data will be done by the University and officials from the concerned Departments. After scrutiny of scanned certificates, a provisional merit list will be released, and the final merit list will be released later.
The candidates claiming reservation under the PwD category are advised to watch the University website for further notifications. They should present him/herself before the Medical Board to be constituted by Dr YSR UHS.
The candidate should submit the Printout of the filled-in Online application form, Provisional verification form and all original certificates along with One set of self-attested copies to the Principal of the allotted college at the time of joining for final verification. In case of any discrepancy, the Provisional allotment order will be cancelled without any notice. The candidates are informed not to send the printout of the application form to the University.
Candidates admission is strictly provisional. The mere fact that the Merit position was issued to him/her does not imply that the University accepts his/her candidature, and it does not mean that the entries made by him/her in the online application are accepted as true and correct. An in-eligible candidate obtaining a Merit position does not make him/her eligible for admission.
The candidate's eligibility for admission into M.Sc. (N) courses for the academic year 2023-24 will be examined by the University officials and officials of the concerned department only based on the uploaded scanned original certificates.
If the information furnished by the candidate in the application is incorrect, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled, and further action that is deemed fit will be taken. If the certificates produced by any candidate are found to be fake/false/forged at any stage of verification or admission, the University has every right to cancel the seat/admission of such candidate without any notice.
The final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the college of admission. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be cancelled, and action may be initiated as per University Regulations.

All the selected candidates shall pay the following fee with GST @18% at the time of downloading the allotment order online by Debit card/Credit Card or Net Banking. University fees, once paid, shall not be refunded under any circumstances
