Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences has announced the timetable for BSc Nursing and Post Basic BSc Nursing regular examinations.

Practical Examinations will be conducted along with 2nd, 3rd & 4th Year B.Sc., (Nursing) students in the month of April, 2023.

As per the notice, attendance, internal assessment marks of 1st year on the portal, and payment of exam fees can be made without a fine of up to 16.3.2023 and with a fine of Rs 200 per candidate up to 18.3.2023. The last date for submission of Printout o Freeze copy (consisting of subject-wise attendance, IA marks) with the Principal's signature, Examination fee DDs, and Admissions approval list is 20.03.2023. It should reach the University on or before the last date.

Exam Fee

  • The examination fee for the BSc Nursing course is fixed:
    • For the whole Examination fee of Rs. 1800/- (including marks memo fee)
    • For referred Candidates:
      • For single subject - Rs.800/- (including fee for Marks memo fee)
      • For two subjects - Rs. 1300/- (including fee for Marks memo fee)
      • For Three or more Subjects: fee) - Rs.1800/- (including fee for Marks memo)

The exam fee shall be paid preferably online mode by clicking the below link https://epay.drntruhs.in/onlinefonlinepayclg by entering the amount to be paid. While making the payment, the respective one should fill all columns and brief about the price in the remarks column.

The payment through DD/ Net Banking is also acceptable as the DD shall be drawn earlier in favor of the Registrar, Dr.YSR University of Health Sciences Vijayawada. The receipt obtained after completion of the online payment should submit to the University along with the material without fail. The fees paid after the due date shall not be accepted under any circumstances.

Colleges are informed to arrange to submit the examination material as specified in the notification in the university office's specific counters along with the exam fee. Once offered in the portal, the marks will not be altered later.

Exam Centers

The candidates have to appear for the examinations of Theory and Practical at the centers specified by the University. The candidates must arrange to reach the examination centers well in advance at their own cost. The name of the examination center will be given in the e-Hall Tickets (in respect of theory examinations) issued by the University.

The name of the practical examination center will be informed through Principals of respective colleges of Nursing.

Single Answer Booklets

Digital Valuation System is introduced for B.Sc 19 Post Basic B.Sc., (N) and B.Sc., (11/ILT) courses from June/July 2019 Examinations. Hence all the students will be given answer booklets with 48 writable pages only for all examinations. No additional booklets will be provided. All the Principals are directed to inform the same to all the students without fail, duly displaying prominently on all the notice boards.

Eligibility for Exam Participation

  • BSc Nursing New Scheme - 4YDC
    • 1st year –
    • All the 1st year students who were in the academic year 2021-22
    • All the 1st year-failed students appeared held in September 2022
    • The candidates admitted during 2014-15 and before are not eligible
  • Post Basic Nursing Course (PBNC) - 2YDC
    • All the 1st year students who were in the academic year 2021-22
    • All the 1st year-failed students appeared held in September 2022.
    • The candidates admitted during the 2018-19 and before are not eligible

Fulfillment of Attendance and Other Regulations

  • The candidates should have requisite attendance of 80% in each subject in Theory & Practical separately
  • Only the candidates who fulfilled all the clauses of regulations of the BSc Nursing degree course are eligible to appear at the examinations. Therefore the candidates are advised to check their eligibility before paying the fees.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

  • The candidate should secure at least 50% marks in the Internal Assessment of Theory and Internal Assessment of Practical in each subject to appear for B.Sc. (IV) exams in 1st year under New Scheme.
  • The Principals are directed to verify the eligibility before freezing the data Medhas Portal, i.e., that the candidate has appeared and passed the Internal Assessment Theory / Practical examinations separately.
  • No Institutions shall submit average internal marks of the test students more than 75%, i.e., if 40 students are admitted to a course, the average score of the 40 students shall not exceed 75% of total internal marks.
  • The principals of the colleges have to forward exam fees, other examination material

Guidelines for Scanning and Uploading Photographs, Signatures

Photograph

  • Photograph must be a recent passport-size color picture
  • The photograph of the student should be taken in uniform
  • In full color and of high quality to avoid any visible pixels
  • A recent photo was taken within the last six months
  • Candidate's name, last name, and date on which the photo was to be taken were mentioned on the picture
  • Head position directly facing the camera, centered, should compose 80% of the image
  • The photo should capture the candidate from slightly above the top of the hair to the middle of the chest
  • Eyes open and looking at the camera. The glasses must not be tinted unless worn daily for medical purposes.
  • Natural expression – smile allowed
  • Candidate is in clear focus and distinguishable from the background.
  • Solid color background is best.
  • Full face must be visible
  • Scan the photo and save it as a JPG file
  • Allowed photo size – 3.5 cm*4.5 cm (width 275 pixels, height 354 pixels)
  • Size of the file should be between 10KB-20KB

Signature

  • The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black or Blue Ink/Gel pen
  • The applicants only need to sign
  • The signature will be used put on the Hall Ticket, attendance sheet, and wherever necessary
  • The applicant's signature on the answer script at the time of the exam should match the signature on the hall ticket
  • Dimensions 3.5 cm * 1.5 cm (width 275 pixels, height 118 pixels)
  • Size of the file should be between 5 KB to 10 KB
  • Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 10 KB

The Principals of the colleges newly established in the Academic year 2021-2022 shall contact the Medhas Team, Dr. YSR UHS, email id medhas.drntruhs@gmail.com, 8978900576 to obtain the login credentials for the MEdHAS Portal and for any assistance in submitting the student data regarding the application of the Examinations.

The Principals of all affiliated B.Sc. (Nursing) Colleges are requested to verify all photos and names of the candidates as per Intermediate/ 10+2 certificates and as admission approved list.
