Dr NTR University Of Health Sciences Notifies On Web Options For MBBS Counselling Mop-Up Round 2, 102 Seats Available

Dr NTR University of Health Sciences has issued a notification for exercising web options and the seat matrix for the MBBS course in Mop-Up round 2 counselling for management (category B & category C (NRI)) quota seats counselling. The provisional final merit list and non-reported list of Mop-Up round 1 have also been released.

As per the notification, candidates can exercise the web option till 25th April 2022, 1:00 pm. If the candidates exercise web options for a seat and are allotted a seat as per their choice of the web options in this phase of counselling, and if they do not join the course at the allotted college, they will be liable for legal action as per applicable laws and also will be debarred for 3 years for MBBS admission under Dr NTR UHS.

The candidates eligible for category C seats can exercise their prioritised options for both category B and C seats available in private unaided, non-minority / minority medical colleges. Such candidates have to exercise web options carefully as per their priorities category wise / college wise. The allotments will be as per the prioritised options exercised by the candidates.

If minority candidates are not available for management quota seats in minority medical colleges, as per the options, the seats will be filled with non-minority candidates.

Non-eligibility for Mop-Up round 2

  • The candidates who have joined the MBBS course in earlier phases of counselling in the allotted colleges in AP and AIQ / Deemed Universities, etc., conducted by the DGHS, New Delhi, & other states, including Telangana.
  • The candidates who have been allotted seats in rounds 1 or 2 or Mop-Up round 1 and who have not joined/withdrawn from the course after joining.

Further, it is notified that if another Mop-Up round happens, then the options exercised for Mop-Up round 2 will be considered. No fresh options will be called for. Allotments will be released based on the options obtained for Mop-Up round 2.

A total of 102 seats are available for Mop-Up round 2. Non-Minority Medical Colleges have 96 seats, and Private Minority Medical Colleges (Muslim Minority) have 6 seats.

Provisional final merit list and non-reported list after Mop-Up round 1 have been released. This year 88 candidates have non-reported after Mop-Up round 1.
