DME Telangana Invites Online Application For GNM Courses, Apply Till 15 October 2022

Telangana: Online applications are invited for GNM courses, the Director of Medical Education (DME Telangana) announced this through a written notice.
Detailed schedule –
1. Online registration – 15th October 2022
2. Last date for submission of downloaded applications to the concerned authorities for both Private and Government schools – 17th October 2022. (For Government institutions, the downloaded applications should submit to Superintendent, Osmania General Hospital, Hyderabad and For Government quota and Management quota in private nursing schools has to submit their downloaded applications at their respective DM & HO's concerned to the Districts)
3. Selection process should be complete in Government schools by Superintendent, Osmania General Hospital, Hyderabad – 26th October 2022
4. Selection process should be complete for Private Nursing Institutions by DM & HO's concerned Districts – 31st October 2022
5. The selection lists should submit to the DME.T.S., Hyderabad on or before – 3rd November 2022
6. Commencement of classes for the 2022-2023 academic year will start from – 4th November 2022
The candidates will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 300 through a Government challan crediting to the following Head of Account –
1. 0210 - Medical & Public Health
2. 03 - Medical Education Training & Research
3. MH 105 - Allopathy
4. SH (81) - Other receipts
5. 001 - Other receipts at State Bank of India at respective places.
6. DDO Code for the Hyderabad area is 25000902022.
Eligibility –
1. 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from the State Open School recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government. However, Science is preferable.
2. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the School recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
3. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream – Health care science from a recognized CBSE board / State / Centre
4. Registered ANM with pass marks.
Foreign Nationals –
The entry qualification equivalency i.e., 12th standard will be obtained by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. The institution, State Nursing Council will be responsible to ensure that, the qualification and eligibility will be equivalent to what has been prescribed as above.

Selection Process –
1. Every Superintendent will be provided with a User ID & Password for verification of Online applications received by them.
2. After the selection of the candidates, they have to indicate the selected candidates online.
3. Selections will be made purely on merit, on the basis of aggregate marks.
4. Obtained by the Candidates in the group subjects, excluding languages. In deciding, merit candidates who qualify under the compartmental system will be placed after candidates who passed in a single attempt.
