DME MP Informs About Joining Of Allotted Seats For BSc Nursing Course

Madhya Pradesh: The Director of Medical Education (DME Madhya Pradesh) has informed about the joining of allotted seats for the BSc Nursing course.
As per the notice, it will be the sole responsibility of the candidates if they don't join the allotted seats of round 1 and for the candidates who have been allotted seats in round 1 but not allotted seats in round 2. Such candidates who are not allotted seats in round 2 cannot claim the seats allotted in round 1.
The admission process for round 2 for the admission for 1st year BSc Nursing admission is being carried out at government colleges of Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Riva, and Sagar.

Eligibility criteria for BSc Nursing –
1. The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. The candidates will have to be residents of the state.
3. The candidates must be between 17 to 30 years of age.
4. The candidate must have studied science in 12th grade from a recognized board.
5. The candidates must have passed the higher secondary exam with 50% aggregate for the general category and 45% for SC/ST/PwD with Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Math.
The medical education department plays a pivotal role in developing medical and paramedical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. The department also has a role to play in establishing and maintaining well-equipped teaching institutions, which are the premier referral centers from peripheral hospitals. Research is another area of activity for the medical education department. The directorate facilitates comprehensive medical and dental education via various medical, dental, and paramedical colleges in the state. Moreover, DME carries out the counseling process for Medical, Dental, and Nursing courses.
