DME Gujarat Starts Refund Process For Round 4 For PG Admission For 2022-23

Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has started the refund process for round 4 for the postgraduate admission process for the academic year – 2022-23.
Per the notice, the refund process started yesterday (31.1.2023) and continues till 6.2.2023 up to noon. The candidates who have either been admitted/not been admitted in postgraduate medical (MD/MS/Diploma/MDS) are eligible for a refund from the tuition fee paid at ACPPGMEC. They have to fill in the online details at http://www.medadmgujarat.org/pg/home.aspx regarding their refund, Bank Name, Bank Account No.; Bank MICR No.; IFSC No.; Account Holder Name. For the refund of fees paid at ACPPGMEC, the NRI candidates have to fill in the details of the Indian Account. Do not fill in the details of the NRE/NRO account.
The candidates note that the refund amount will be paid through Electronic Transfer in their bank account. If there is a mismatch in filled account details (Wrong Account No.; Wrong IFSC Code, etc.) and a dormant/freeze account due to banking reasons, the transaction could fail.

The Government of Gujarat, in the Legislative Assembly, has passed an act, Act No.3 of 2008, called "Gujarat Professional Educational Medical Colleges or Institutions Act, 2007," to make special provision for the regulation of admission in the Professional Medical educational courses in the State and fixation of fees in such colleges or institutions and matter connected in addition to that. The Government of Gujarat had constituted the "Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC)" to regulate the admission of candidates to the Professional MD/MS/Diploma & MDS degree courses. The mission assigned to this Committee is to carry out the counseling process fairly and transparently. The admission process is conducted by this Committee strictly based on the candidate's merit.
Recently team reported that DME had opened the window for online consent for participating in the 7th offline round (special stray vacancy offline round) of counseling for BAMS and BHMS courses. For the online consent, the candidates must log in to the website http://medadmgujarat.org/ug/home.aspx using their User- ID, and Password. During the online consent, they can select the help center to be present personally, till 04:00 pm, on 4.2.2023.
