DME Gujarat Notifies On NEET UG Round 1 Refund Process

Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has notified the candidates about the refund process for round 1 UG candidates for 2022-23.
The refund process will continue till 28.2.2023 up to 4:00 pm. The candidates, who have either admitted/ not been admitted in Medical/Dental/Ayurvedic/Homeopathy and are eligible for a refund from the tuition fee paid at ACPUGMEC, must fill in the online details at http://www.medadmgujarat.org/ug/home.aspx; regarding their refund.
The following details have to be filled in by the candidates -
1. Bank Name
2. Bank Account No
3. Bank MICR No
4. IFSC No
5. Account Holder Name
For the refund of fees paid at ACPUGMEC, the NRI candidates have to fill in the details of the Indian Account. Do not fill in the details of the NRE/NRO account.
The candidates note that the refund will be paid through Electronic Transfer in their bank account.

The following are the reasons for the failure of the transaction –
1. Mismatch in filled Account Details: Wrong Account No.; Wrong IFSC Code; etc
2. Dormant/Freeze account due to banking reasons
If the candidates find any mistake in the details of the refund, then report ACPUGMEC through the following e-mail: medadmgujarat2018@gmail.com.
The Government of Gujarat, in the Legislative Assembly, has passed an act, Act No.3 of 2008, called “Gujarat Professional Educational Medical Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007,” to make special provision for the regulation of admission in the Professional Medical educational courses in the State and fixation of fees in such colleges or institutions and for matter connected in addition to that. As per the powers conferred to State Government, in Section 20(1) of the said Act, the Government of Gujarat, by way of a notification, had constituted “Admission Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC)” to regulate the admission of candidates to the Professional Medical/ Dental/Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Naturopathy degree courses.
